The set opens on the water, with the Statue of Liberty against the sunset. Then the lights come on across the rivers: Lower Manhattan's towers behind a bridge at twilight, and Midtown seen across the East River from Queens, the view you get from Gantry Plaza State Park.

It moves into Midtown after dark, with the Art Deco spire of the Empire State Building lit blue, Grand Central and the Chrysler Building, and the Flatiron's narrow prow. It goes out to the Hudson for Little Island's lit piers, back to the East River at night, and up into the air over One World Trade Center. It ends on a ferry deck at dusk and with the December lights in Brooklyn and at Rockefeller Center.
